What every shade has in common
Colour is the last decision, not the first one. Before it matters, the fabric has to be worth buying.
Every pillowcase here is 100% mulberry silk at 19 momme, woven in silk certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (certificate 19.HCN.84688, issued by Hohenstein HTTI). That certificate number is public: anyone can check it on the OEKO-TEX label check tool.
Momme is the weight measure for silk, the way thread count is for cotton. It describes weight, not a quality grade. Nineteen is the level where a pillowcase stays smooth against hair through repeated washing instead of thinning at the seams. Below 16, silk bedding starts giving way at the stitching.
Mulberry silk is silk produced by silkworms fed exclusively on mulberry leaves, which yields a longer, more uniform filament than wild silk. It is the reason the surface feels continuous rather than slubbed.

The neutrals
Pearl White
The classic. Pearl White silk reads as hotel bedding: crisp, luminous, and it makes a room feel larger and brighter. It suits every wall colour and every wood tone. It is the shade people choose when they want the bed to disappear into the room rather than announce itself.
The trade-off is that white shows everything. Makeup, self-tanner, hair oil. If you use any of those at night, buy two and wash often.

How to choose in practice
Match the room, not the sheets. Silk catches light, so the pillowcase reads as a surface rather than a colour block. Pick against your walls and your lighting, not against the duvet you already own.
Think about what you put on your face at night. Makeup wearers and self-tanner users should start dark. It removes an entire category of worry.

Which silk pillowcase colour hides makeup best?
Obsidian Black, then Navy Blue. Both are effectively invisible to foundation, mascara and self-tanner. That said, a pillowcase you never wash is a hygiene problem whatever colour it is. Dark shades hide marks; they do not remove them.
Can I mix colours on one bed?
